Maeda Palius - Partner
Maeda works with businesses ranging from startups to larger companies with sales in excess of $50,000,000. She assists her clients with business profitability consulting, financial forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning engagements. Clients' industries include service, retail, construction, restaurant, import, Internet as well as real estate, and represent many types of business entities from "C" and "S" corporations to partnerships to LLC's and LLP's.
Maeda attended Boston University and Humboldt State University earning a BA in 1972 in British and American Literature. Maeda took her accounting classes at UCSB and earned a California CPA certificate in 1979. She founded Palius + O'Kelley with Michael O'Kelley in 1993.
Maeda belongs to the AICPA, and the Principa Consulting Network. She serves on the California Coast RDC audit committee and is the President of the NAWBO Santa Barbara chapter. She is also a past president of Women's Economic Ventures.
In her spare time Maeda enjoys traveling with her husband, gardening and playing with her French bulldog, Sophie.
