Ginny Samario, Bookkeeper
Ginny began working for Palius + O'Kelley in 1999 as an administrative assistant. She and her husband had just moved to the Santa Barbara area from Los Angeles and she was raising a young family. Having been in the mortgage industry since 1982 after graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a Business Administration degree, she found that industry very volatile and was looking for a more stable area to work in.
At POK she was given the opportunity through training to obtain her tax preparer certificate from H & R Block, and she updated her accounting skills at Santa Barbara City College.
She left Palius + O'Kelley in 2003 to work in real estate investment. By 2006 she wanted more challenging work with more growth opportunities. Ginny learned that Palius + O'Kelley were looking for a bookkeeper, and, because she had enjoyed working with them and their team approach earlier in her career, she thought that she'd be a good fit since her skill set had grown considerably. Palius + O'Kelley agreed!
Since rejoining Palius + O'Kelley, Ginny has been working with multiple clients and finds her job to be interesting and rewarding.
